|Any member—that means YOU—can submit a nomination for AFP’s international awards program, but the deadline is rapidly approaching: Jan. 31.Fortunately, with our new system, the first step in nominating is EASY! Just submit a homemade video—three minutes tops—with you talking about why your nominee should be selected.
Yep, it’s that easy. No music. No cutaways. No production value. Just you talking to the camera about how your nominee has changed your community—and the world. That’s it.
And your nominee doesn’t have to have been selected as a chapter award recipient, or ever been honored before at all. So long as your nominee fits in one of these categories, you’re set:
• Outstanding Philanthropist
• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
• Outstanding Corporation
• Outstanding Foundation
• Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, Individual
• Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, Group
To get more information, upload your video—and see examples of the types of videos we’re looking for—click here for the AFP awards page: http://awards.afpresources.org
You have until Jan. 31 to upload your video, and provide a little basic information about you and your nominee.
So get your home video camera, iPhone or other device started and tell us about why your nominee is deserving of AFP’s Awards for Philanthropy.
Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing your nomination by Jan. 31!
